Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Art Society

Welcome to the website of the Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Art Society.  If you are interested in art and live within reach of Brighouse, West Yorkshire, UK, then come and meet our members and join us in a demonstration, workshop, outdoor painting session or exhibition. 

Whatever your level of ability, we would be pleased to see you.  You can call and have a look at what we paint, what materials we use, and we could suggest a few of the items you would need to start painting if you are a beginner.  We can offer a free 'taster' session:  show you what to do and encourage your first attempts.  If you decide to join us, you can gradually learn various techniques and "tricks of the trade".
