Cath Inglis demonstrated the art of pastel painting to the members of the Hipperholme and Lightcliffe Art Society last night. Her subject was a domestic cat. She showed how important it is to do an under painting first and then build up the layers to give a 3 dimensional look to the painting. This is especially important with the eyes. She answered members questions and gave excellent advice and tips. Great evening enjoyed by all.
