Great demo in gouache showing how to tackle and build up such a detailed and colourful painting whilst retaining the vibrancy and atmosphere of the subject. Although a photograph, taken by the artist, was used as a basis for the painting, the experience of being present at the time was transferred onto the paper and captured in a loose yet dramatic form.
